When to go to Bodrum

May to October is the ideal time. July and August are hot and crowded, but May, June and September offer mild temperatures (24–29°C) and warm water.

Where to stay

Bodrum town for nightlife and the marina, Gümbet for the young crowd and water sports, Bitez or Yalıkavak for families wanting quiet beaches.

Getting around

The airport–hotel transfer is included. The peninsula is easy to explore by dolmuş (local minibus), but a rental car is ideal for the hidden coves of Yalıkavak and Turgutreis.
