Talk to a consultantThe direct charter flight from Romania to Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport (ADB) takes about 2h30, non-stop. From the airport to Kusadasi is 70 km (1h with the included transfer). Charters are available from Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca, Iași and Timișoara, depending on the week.
The ideal season is May to October. Average summer temperatures are 28–32°C. May and September are perfect for visiting Ephesus, when temperatures are comfortable for archaeological walks.
The official currency is the Turkish Lira (TRY), but Euros and cards are accepted everywhere in tourist areas. Tip: exchange Euros for Lira for local markets and tipping.
