When to go to Marsa Alam
October to May is the ideal period. Summer reaches 38-40°C, while winters of 22-28°C make Marsa Alam perfect for diving and beach days in the cooler season.
Where to stay
Port Ghalib for a modern hub with a marina, Abu Dabbab for the protected marine ecosystem, and Sataya for swimming with dolphins.
Getting around
